Growing up in Fredonia, NY, my photography experiences started at a very young age, I was in 5th grade when I had my first picture published in the local newspaper. By sixth grade I owned my first “real” camera and traveled around the county shooting sporting events for various news outlets. I was always referred to as "the little kid with the camera bigger than him“. After high school I was guilted into shooting some portraits, which led to a few weddings, and then a few more, and well.. now I’m a full-time wedding photographer!
I spend my summer and fall months working in Western New York, and travel in the “off-season”. I think what sets me apart from other photographers is my relaxed and fun approach, and the diversity in subject matter that I cover.
None of “this” was never planned, it kind of just happened. I’m extremely grateful for all of my friends, family, and clients who have backed me throughout this endeavor, but most importantly my parents. When everyone else was pushing me to go the traditional route and “get a degree”, my parents let me follow my passion and teach myself photography.
Whether I'm shooting professional sports or, photographing my favorite musicians, or working a wedding, every time I pick up my camera I'm so thankful I get to do this for a living. I guess what they say is true, “If you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life”.
